Our FarmsPure Nature!
We leave nothing to chance when it comes to Farming Pangasius at Jade River. We run a natural area of 130 hectares of pond farming which is fully integrated. That means we raise our own fingerlings, produce our own feed for the fish and care for the Pangasius from the Egg on.
We are proud of that – our Farm, which is oriented on the Systems of our pure Nature, had been granted the highest honors of international Fish Farming Certification, Global GAP (Good Aquaculture Practice) and ASC (Aquaculture Stewardship Council).
Our farm are away from any trouble coming through household waste or any other pollutants transported into the farming sites. In Ben Tre there is no major polluting industry – only rice and fruit farming, gardening and some poultry breeding near the populated areas but there we never farm our fish.
The waters for Pangaius farming be constantly controlled by the public Veterinary and Environmental Services of Vietnam in the Mekong Delta. These public bodies keep the records and tak care that the farmers look for the water quality every day. No drilling of ground water wells.
Nature constructed Pangasius for living in a warm freshwater-environment, which differs very much from salmon or trout. Pangasius is used to stand lower oxygen-levels than that we are used in salmonids, and prefers water temperatures which trout and salmon could not survive and more in the pond water and the Pangasius lives and feeds best
